1. Discussion – Raising the 15 mph Speed Limit
Decision Required: Whether to make a motion to raise the limit in certain areas.
The new speed camera laws passed by the General Assembly requires a minimum of a posted 20 mph speed limit in order for their use. The Mayor and Council have designated a number of spots in Town near schools and parks to be 15mph. Changes will be necessary in order to use speed cameras near the schools.

The Mayor has added this item to the agenda. The Mayor will provide an update after his meeting with County officials.

5. Consideration O-6-14 Amending Section 27-14 Violations and Penalties
Decision Required: Whether to introduce.
This is a housekeeping matter as we noted that civil violations void of being a photo enforcement civil violation was not listed in the penalties and violation section of the code.
6. Consideration O-7-14 Amending Section 27-10 Snow Emergencies
Decision Required: Whether to introduce.
This is a request from the Director of Public Works regarding certain areas of town (lower Belleview Avenue) where it is impracticable to install NO PARKING signs for the entire year, but legal parking during a snow storm makes it impossible to plow the roadway.
